Description
This is a set of sixteen beautiful goblets that I believe are silver plate. Very difficult to find, and harder still to find information on this iconic brand in English!
One piece sold on eBay recently with the same mark and was noted as sterling. Other sterling items are marked as such 950 sterling so even though we’ve no evidence that Miyata made plate, we’re sticking with it.
Size 4-1/4” H x 2-1/2” W
Likely holds a 4 oz pour, typical of the period and perfect for cocktails, sherry, after dinner liqueurs.
Excellent condition, I polished but you might want to do some more. As I’m taking photos I see some remaining tarnish darn it. Easy to clean. Afterwards store in a silver bag and never have to do it again!
One piece has a slight flaw underneath base, does not detract. See photo.
