SOUTHWEST NATIVE POTTERY STORAGE JAR, MICACEOUS

Description

Offered for sale is a pottery storage jar likely originating in northern New Mexico in the 19th or early 20th century. Flecks of mica appear in its polished surface along with fire clouds and striations from handling. The jar is 5 1/2 inches high with a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. It is in excellent condition without damages of any type.
