STUNNING RARE TWO ARMED CANDELABRA SILVER PLATE FRENCH BY ARGIT

Description

Rarely on the open market, a Two-Armed Silver Plated Candelabra, by ARGIT.  Bordered by a Brass Roping or Braiding, this piece stands out as an original and highly desirable. The Clover Leaf Candlecups are outstanding!  Argit created French silverware and silver-plate in the early 1900s. Renowned for both their French Art Nouveau and Art Deco pieces. Un-restored and in totally original condition for a piece of some 100 years old, the ARGIT stamp and maker’s hallmark are well struck and it has kept its form very well. Some rust in the well of one of the Candle cups.
